Mary Eschen Bio
For 10 years Mary has been lecturing and teaching practical parenting skills to schools and churches in Silicon Valley. As COVID-19 hit during early 2020, Mary started a successful podcast for parents called Parenting Decoded which allows to her keep reaching parents during these challenging times.
After having children, Mary left the high tech industry where she ran technical services (hotline, consulting, training, etc.) for Oracle and Veritas Software. She could see many parents struggling with their children (herself included!) and in 2011 was introduced to Love and Logic® parenting concepts. Mary fell in love with the practical skills and how they helped parents raise responsible, respectful kids in a loving manner-- exactly what she wanted to do with her own children! So when Mary discovered she could become a Love and Logic facilitator, she started facilitating at local schools and churches. In 2016, in addition to the classes that are 6 weeks, Mary added entertaining one-night parenting lectures .
In 2014, Mary started attending Life Coach training at Western Seminary to broaden her skills in helping parents. Certified as an ACC Level Coach by the International Coaching Federation, Mary now offers coaching services to families who would like one-on-one assistance with parenting issues.
